I've been sort of at a loss lately. Do you ever have so much to talk about that you simply don't talk about anything?
First things first. Say what you will, but things have happened around here, and now we have Kiwi the cat, who sometimes sleeps like this:
Sorry for the fuzzy picture. His name is now C.J.. He is a Maltese/Yorkie cross. (Actually a Biewer Yorkie) He's perfect, and if he will just not pee on the floor...
You know, I'm ready for a change. I can't say that Texas has been good to me, for the most part. The last three years have been pretty rough, in lots of ways, and I'd just like to move on now. I'm still thinking Arizona. There are many things I would miss, of course, but there are things I miss about Missouri, too, and things I miss about Arizona, too. Overall, I still think I feel the vibe. Anybody got a job available?
And Merry Christmas to you. We're getting in the Spirit around here. The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, and the halls are decked. I listen to Christmas music most of the time, but let me ask you this: How do you feel about some of the songs they play on the "Christmas" station? (I can ask this question to you no matter where you live, because it's the same way here as it was in Missouri, so I assume it's pretty much the same everywhere.) Songs like "Another Auld Lang Syne", and others. I mean, are they really Christmas songs? I don't think so.
So as I sit here watching Paula Deen's Cookie Swap, I say to you, "Merry Christmas".
