OK, I know, it's really pitiful to see Misty back there, but I'll have you know that she's doing great, and so am I.
Anyway, I have had this crate since...well, a long time ago. I knew I was going to get a Yorkie, who would be small enough to use it, and so I wanted it to be pretty. I am a FIRM believer in crate training a dog!! (If you're interested in why, feel free to ask, otherwise I won't get into it.) I got online and searched for crate covers, and I found some! Yes. There were ugly ones for around $35, and pretty ones for around $135. Whatever!
So I made my own. I'm so proud of me!
This side needs a door flap, but my little children cut it up. They "thought it was extra". I ran out of fabric, so I'll have to get some and add it later...
I also want to add ties to the door flaps, to hold them shut when they're not being used.
This is the door flap on the end. The crate has two doors, and I wanted both to be usable. (This picture was taken with the flash, and has the truest color)
The back is fitted, so it stays snug. I apologize for a few bad pictures. I forgot the flash on a couple and tried to photoshop them to make them lighter. Oh well, you get the idea.
I love it! I'm so excited about having a pretty cover for Sophie's crate, and it only cost me about $20. Awesome.
