Just wondering

I just wondered...

What is your general daily routine?

Does it involve any TV? What are your TV rules? Is it a sort of babysitter?

How about computer?

How do you get your kids to do daily business, like making their bed, brushing their teeth, just the everyday stuff?

Do your children scream and yell a lot, even when they're playing?

Do you get up in the morning before your kids?

Do you exercise regularly?

Do you have daily family scripture? In the morning or at night?

When you put your kids to bed at night do they stay there?

Blah, Blah, Blah...

Ash, LOVE THE UPDATED pictures of your kids. They are adorable. As far as your post...I just do my best every day to keep everyone alive from sun up to sun down...whatever it takes!!

Cute new topper! We do have TV on. Kids are pretty good about staying in bed. We try our best with scriptures. My kids are ALWAYS yelling, even as we speak. It's good yelling, but it's still yelling! I wish you were here with your parents, I want to see you!

Owen is at the TV or computer WAY more than I want him to be, but sometimes in the middle of the winter there's only so much you can do to keep them entertained without it. (And sometimes I really just need a shower!)

We do scripture study at night, but I remember that didn't work when I was a teen and everyone was doing different things in the evenings.

We do a token system with Owen for chores. So far he's saved them up to earn toys we've bought for him and put out by his token bank to motivate him, but tokens can be for privledges too (no money involved) they can turn in tokens for tv/computer time, or having the choice of program when the siblings are all watching together. They can be used for treats or maybe some special outing like if they really wnat to go see a movie that's coming to the theater in a few weeks or something you can have them save up whatever predetermined number of tokens you want. Owen really enjoys earning his tokens. I still have to remind him to do it all though!
